Die gebied word gereken as een van die veediefstalbrandpunte, met die diefstal van plaasinsette wat ’n groot probleem is. Kameratoerusting is bewillig om hoofroetes en paaie in die gebied te monitor.

The area is considered one of the stock theft hotspots, with theft of farm inputs also a serious problem. Camera equipment was allocated to monitor the main routes and roads in the area.

 2020 

Volksrust Farmers’ Association – night vision equipment:  Stock theft, as well as grain theft, home burglaries and theft from houses, has escalated recently. The night vision equipment will be used in stock theft prevention operations.

 2019

Delmas District Agricultural Union – camera and communication system: The area is subject to general theft, theft of vehicles, armed robbery, home burglaries, malicious damage to property and stock theft. Funding was allocated for the purchase of cameras to monitor the area, as well as radios for the farm watch groups.
