Ceres Witzenberg Agricultural Association – installation of repeater and purchase of portable radios: Cable theft, drug trafficking, murder and assault, as well as farm attacks, are common. A repeater was installed, and portable radios purchased in an attempt to improve emergency communication in the area.
Overhex Agricultural Association – camera system: The police confirmed that the area had suffered serious losses as a result of home burglaries and farm attacks aimed at injuring and intimidating farm owners. Other crimes include drug trafficking and illegal alcohol sales. The installation of cameras would contribute towards the expansion of the camera system in the area.
Agterpakhuis Agricultural Association – camera system: Since 2019, the number of farm attacks had doubled, while higher levels of unemployment had resulted in an increase in crime in the area. With the expansion of the camera system, the intention was to curb the incidence of crime and to combat the theft of farm equipment.
Nuveld Agricultural Association – camera system: Stock theft and general theft are the most prevalent types of crime in the area and include theft of boundary fencing, illegal sale of alcohol and drug trafficking. By installing cameras an attempt is made to limit and prevent crime.
Darling Agricultural Association – radio repeater and night vision equipment: There had recently been theft of vehicles, solar panels, copper cables and borehole pumps in the area. There had also been theft of sheep and farm equipment as well as home burglaries. Support was provided for the purchase of night vision equipment, as well as a repeater to improve communication in the area.
Caledon-Jongensklip Agricultural Association – radio system: Unreliable communication in the area is considered a major risk, especially when producers must respond to incidents at night and their families are left alone at home. The radio system would be used for emergency communication and can be incorporated into the existing police network.
2019
MacGregor & Robertson Agricultural Association - camera system: Crimes that occur generally are ordinary robbery, drug smuggling, illegal alcohol sales, farm attacks, house burglaries and intimidation. The camera system will be used for electronic observation as the first line of defence.
Bonnievale Agricultural Association: camera and security equipment: Cable theft by minors is increasingly common, followed by smuggling, farm attacks, house burglaries, theft from farms and intimidation. Information obtained by means of the camera system will contribute to more effective visible policing, which is an important precautionary measure.

Hex Table Grape Producers’ Association – cameras and rural protection equipment: Crime in the area includes home burglaries, murder and theft of farm products and borehole equipment. The equipment will be used to combat the theft of farm products and to monitor access routes.
Koue Bokkeveld Agricultural Association – camera system: Problems are experienced with suspicious vehicles from the Ceres area, as well as illegal alcohol sales and drug smuggling. The camera system will be used in cooperation with the police to monitor vehicle movement in the area.
Agri Malmesbury – installation of repeaters: Theft of livestock and scrap metal has become an increasingly serious problem given the drug trafficking in the area. Repeaters will be installed to improve the effectiveness of the communication system and to ensure better emergency communication in the area.

Agter-pakhuis Agricultural Association – repeaters and camera network: Given the growing crime problem in the area, comprehensive contingency plans have been developed and implemented. To lend further momentum to the security effort, a repeater and camera network would be installed in the area.
